Roger Hunt - President, Operations Manager
Roger is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology. Roger joined Triad in 1987 in the Show Control division and later took over management of our Fabrication department in 1989. He deals with all aspects of product fabrication, equipment rack assembly and wiring. Roger's responsibilities include quoting, scheduling, ordering and shipping equipment. He also deals with product development, prototypes, custom I/O equipment and graphical design for ops panels. |
Paul Hohlfeld - Secretary, Rental Manager
In 1978, Paul graduated from Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa with an Associate of Arts in Educational Media Technology. Starting with AV Services in 1979 as a Rental Clerk, Paul gained on-the-job experience in producing, programming and staging large multi-image slide presentations. He later became Rental Manager and has continued in that position. As technology has changed, Paul has continued to expand his knowledge in video projection, computer interface and projection, public address and presentation audio systems. He began working with organizations to help plan and implement their audio and video needs for large conventions and annual meetings. In 1995, Paul joined Triad Productions to form the audio video rental department. In addition to his responsibilities as Rental Manager, he has become involved in Sales and System Integration. Paul has helped to design meeting room and boardroom systems, public address systems and video/computer projection systems. | |
Eileen Jutting - Treasurer, Accountant
Eileen graduated from Dordt College with a double degree in Business Administration and Business Administration/Accounting. She started at Triad in 1982 and is the manager of Triad's accounting department. Over the years, Eileen has become involved in multiple aspects of project management, including: bid development, project coordination, equipment ordering and tracking and invoicing. Eileen also loves working in an industry in which she can learn and figure out new things every day. |
Tammy Hunt - Office Manager
Tammy graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in Accounting and Management. Tammy has been the office manager for Triad's AV Services division since 1995. She started with Triad in 1987 as a part-time circuit board assembler. Tammy performs various accounting duties, as well as “manning” the front desk. She continues to assemble circuit boards as needed and also helps build control panels in the fabrication area. Tammy schedules audio and video rentals, duplicates video and interfaces with customers. Prior to joining Triad, Tammy was the Support Services Coordinator for Younkers, a chain of upscale department stores headquartered in Des Moines. Tammy enjoys doing detail work, which is true for both her work at Triad and her various hobbies. |
John Bowman - Service Manager
John is a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College with a degree in Electronic Technology. He has also attended service and programming schools for Kodak, Telex and AMX. John joined Triad in 1995 with Triad's acquisition of AV Services. Since 1982, John has been repairing audio visual equipment, helping with customer rentals and installing new equipment in conference rooms and boardrooms. Since 1998, John has programmed AMX remote control systems for Meredith Corporation and Des Moines City Council Chambers. |
Michael Landon - Fabrication
Michael is a graduate of Des Moines Area Community College, where he earned his degree in High Technology. Michael assembles, tests and documents Triad's show control equipment. He also provides customer support for repair and maintenance of Triad equipment. Prior to joining Triad in 1998, Michael's background included three years of computer consulting, as well as serving as musical director of Norwoodville Church of the Open Bible. |
Dick Trump - Retired - President Emeritus
Dick studied in Electrical Engineering, Music and Telecommunicative Arts at Iowa State University. He has also attended multiple SynAudCon (audio design) workshops.
Since co-founding Triad Productions in 1974, Dick has worked to make Triad a recognized leader in audio production and show control. In addition to his strong computer and electrical engineering background, he is experienced in the performing arts and accomplished in applied acoustics.
He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society and served as the '91-'92 President of SPARS (Society of Professional Audio Recording Services).
Tony Schmitt - Retired
Tony has been with Triad since 1981 and retired at the end of 2021. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa School of Music and United Electronics Institute. During his career, he has recorded such groups as the Des Moines Big Band and Drake University Choir to in-studio projects ranging from national award-winning commercials to audio sweetening for video and CD mastering. Tony has honed his audio/acoustics knowledge with certifications from AFMG EASE, HiQNet Audio Architect, QSC Q-SYS, Audinate Dante, AMX and Shure.
