TC550 BART Controller

A BART is an ideal unit for distributed show control; small and versatile, it is ideal for many applications. The unit will read or generate SMPTE time code. It may be configured to generate up to sixty-four channels of DMX-512 lighting control. Alternately, it may have up to sixteen analog inputs or outputs. Sixteen digital inputs and sixteen digital outputs are standard on the motherboard but a daughter-board may be added to increase that number. Individual outputs are configurable as to sink/source and voltage. There are data ports for adding up to 128 external outputs (TC-316/TC-3161 with appropriate support). There are four serial ports to interface with external devices requiring RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 control.

TC3550 SCU Controller Card

This card is the heart of the LDC/SCU (Laser Disc Controller/Show Control Unit) as well as the STU (Servo Terminal Unit) and DTU/RTU (Data/Remote Terminal Unit) card frames. A modular front panel connector is provided for local terminal access for setup, calibration, and diagnostics. The function of the TC-3550 is defined by the firmware in EPROM and the associated hardware in the card frame.

TC3161 16 Channel Digital Output Card

The TC-3161 is designed to drive medium current digital loads (relays, small lamps, motors, and hydraulic, pneumatic or other fluid valves) in a sinking mode only. For use in Triad card frames (using a TC-613 Backplane) or as remote output terminal (using a TC-631 Adapter Card). Each channel drives 500 mA at up to 24 VDC and the total of all outputs cannot exceed 4A. There is a .75A Pico fuse that protects each channel in case of overload. Diode kick-back suppression is included for inductive loads. LED indicators located on the front of the card display the output status of each channel. A disable switch is provided to clear and prohibit the card from responding to data from the show control unit

TC316 16 Channel Logical Output Card

The TC-316 is designed to provide opto-coupler isolated logic outputs. Typical applications could be solid state audio starts and equipment remote control functions. For use in Triad card frames (using a TC-613 Backplane) or as remote output terminal (using a TC-631 Adapter Card). Each channel is a ground closure capable up to 100 mA per channel. The card is ideal for situations where total isolation is desired and medium currents are not required. Diode kick-back suppression is included for inductive loads. LED indicators located on the front of the card display the output status of each channel. A disable switch is provided to clear and prohibit the card from responding to data from the show control unit.

TC336 16 Channel Analog Output Card

The Triad TC-336 is a 16 channel analog output card whose outputs are each capable of driving approximately 50mA. Designed for show control and motion base applications, the TC-336 is used to drive lighting dimmers, servo controls for electric, pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, mechanical feedback servo valves, VCAs (voltage controlled attenuators), VCO?s (voltage controlled oscillators) and other devices requiring full analog control.

TC582 SmartOps Board

A Smart Ops is designed to save you money. Instead of pulling massive amounts of copper to accomodate all those buttons and lamps in your next operator interface panel you can install one of these. It communicates over a single twisted pair via RS-232. It will accept up to 31 inputs and run up to 31 lamps. In addition, it can be outfitted with an LCD screen to display messages. There are on board messages that can be called, custom messages can be accomodated in firmware, and messages can be displayed that are sent from external sources. The standard unit is DIN rail mountable or let us fabricate a custom panel for you!

TC3518 Channel Serial Port Card

The TC-3518 I/O Controller is a 4.5" x 6.5" card which contains eight serial I/O ports with input and outputs at TTL levels. When used in conjunction with the TC-642 (4 x RS-232) level translator/buffer board, up to eight RS-232 communication channels may be configured.
Baud rates from 110-38,400 are possible for normal serial communication typically used in a LDC (Laser Disc Controller)/SCU frame.
The baud rate, parity, and stop bit configuration for each serial port is software selectable and is configured in the battery-backed RAM of the TC-3550 Processor card.
